We use the latest technology in our mobile disco, so our repertoire is wide, a large number of tracks are available at any time. Whatever your taste, rock’n’roll, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, disco or more modern, we can do it. We also carry a large selection of Irish music, both traditional and modern. Traditional ballroom tempos played on request. We will endeavour to obtain your special requests prior to the event.
However, we do not play explicit lyrics unless requested by clients. We find these are not usually suitable for family occasions, due to content.
On booking you will receive a written contract and invoice, together with a form where you can let us know your requirements for your function.
For standard party nights we play a variety of music to suit our audience. We try to find something for everyone.
A little background music while your guests arrive? We know that family parties in particular may mean people want to talk for a while.
Then, if you want a slow waltz or quickstep, no problem.
Do you want some reggae? Fine. How about UB40 or Bob Marley, maybe John Holt or Gregory Isaacs?
A few modern chart tracks for the younger generation, perhaps a little club-mix?
Ballroom tempos are always available for the serious dancers.
We also carry line-dance and traditional Irish tracks for those who require them. If you want to do the Siege of Ennis it’s fine by us!
Whatever your music taste, from pre-50’s to today, we are happy to accommodate you.
On booking you will receive a form to let us know just how you would like the evening to go.
Of course, there are always the traditional party tracks, The Macarena, Saturday Night, Cha-Cha Slide, to get everybody going.
For the young (or just young-at-heart) the Black Lace hits and Oops Upside Your Head or YMCA allow a lot of arm-waving enjoyment.
Just let us know of any favourite tracks and dances or just come up during the evening when you suddenly remember that special one. Dedicate it to someone special.
Can’t stand one particular track or type of music? Don’t want The Birdie Song?
Let us know what you don’t want played, too, everybody won’t want the same thing.
It’s YOUR choice when it’s YOUR party !
Whatever the function it’s your choice!
But please don’t be too rigid, allow your DJ some leeway as a professional who can help to ensure everybody has a great night and that your function is a success. Remember your guests may like a variety. We do prefer not to have a full play list for an evening but welcome suggestions and favourite music notes so we can tailor the evening just for you.
Weddings and Civil Partnerships, of course, are in a class of their own. Music may be required at background level for a wedding breakfast, with the main dancing started after that special first dance.
